Should I plant my baby in my garden?

I've been quite curious recently as to whether I should plant my newborn baby (3 weeks) into my garden vegetable patch. I was considering this because I heard that babies were quite useful in producing carrots and tomatoes, and they do wonders in helping soil. I would obviously water it of course, I'm not insane!

I just wanted to see what everyone else thinks about this, before I do it, maybe for some tips and tricks on how to produce the best carrots from my baby!

Wow ,whereabouts in the UK are you ?

Guessing by the prodigous growth of a 3 week old that you must have excellent growing conditions .Somewhere warm and sheltered to have escaped the beast from the east and recent cold .South West ? Never -never land ?

I must say I would love one like yours in my garden ,what a charmer!

Do you have undergardeners to help as I've heard that maintenance of that variety can be quite specialised and demanding ?
