Scented perennial and annual flowers

what scented perennial and annual plants (that flower) would you say are best? I love smelling the flowers in gardens. I’ve got a toddler so can’t have anything that is thorny like roses. I have a buddleja already and lavender. I once had a chocolate cosmos but I haven’t been able to find the plant again in any nearby garden centres.

Jasmine, Magnolia, could try herbs for variety

Stocks and tobacco plants? Wintersweet for the winter, definitely.

Sweet peas! Still time to plant seeds. Lovely for cutting and bringing their scent into your home

Philadelphus are perennial shrubs that have a beautiful scent. Osmanthus is another, evergreen and in flower now.
