We don't have front garden just a patch of mud that was full of the same type of overgrown plant. DH is in the process of digging it all out but I dont have a clue what we can put there instead. I have hopefully attached a couple of pictures and would love some ideas please?
I don't know how best to explain this but I like neatness and order so just chucking a load if seeds on it (like DH suggested) isn't the look I'm after Grin Even the odd shape of the thing is bugging me.

I would go for evergreen dwarf hardy conifers - no maintenance, all year colour and variety.

I'd have a rockery with small plants and larger rocks and stones, either that or I would continue the flagging. A bit too small for a random bit of grass

Creeping thyme and creeping juniper would be my choice
