Hi,

I have a small triangular raised bed thing that does nothing much. Does anyone have any quick fixes of what kind of bush/plant I could put in to brighten up? Were selling my up and want garden to look tidier.

When do you expect to show the house?

Can you put up a pic of the bed?

Putting it on in 4 weeks. Will try and upload a pic now

Oh that's quite big! You would need to spend a lot to get plants that won't look silly.

Would it be better to get all the weeds out, put down some membrane, and cover with slate or gravel? Or is that just as expensive?

Ah yes I think slate chipping and s couple of pots is probably the only quick fix!

I think so. Gives people a blank canvas.

Not a clue how much slate costs, mind.

Weed it thoroughly and put down cheapest gravel or chippings that look nice. Get a nice low container and plant with bedding for some colour, and take it with you when you sell. Move the two tall pots forward to fill the space

Thanks for the advice. I'll do it today and post a pic. I'm fine with plain lawn but that's where my gardening talents end I'm afraid.
