Will the weather have killed my dahlias

I have a few dahlias on my allotment in London. The tubers are about 20 cm underground and I have mulched well with horse manure and straw. Usually they come through when the weather gets warmer. Should I be bringing some new ones on indoors now? Don’t like to contemplate a dahlia free summer

I leave some of mine in the ground and some in large pots outside. None of them will be showing green shoots for a while yet, usually May.
As back up I have just planted some in pots, in the greenhouse.

As long as they were not waterlogged they may have survived. I leave mine in the ground, just dig in some grit and bulb fibre around them when I remember Smile

Thanks, I guess they could get waterlogged as the snow melts on them. Think I'll start on a couple of my fave colours indoors as insurance.
