I have marigolds at the ready so will spread them about, will look for the sticky stuff thouigh.

Have already soaped them .

A bit p*ssed off actually they came on e new plant today

you can buy baby ladybirds, but in my experience this is only really viable for a greenhouse - i think they can live happily with the little wasps for the whitefly. yellow sticky things do tend to attract absolutely everything including the ladybirds you bought to eat the greenfly.

I never had trouble with whitefly until I tried to grow aubergines in the greenhouse - it was like a snowstorm in there, never again.

Marigolds are supposed to exude a scent that aphids don't like, and being yellow they attract predators that eat the aphids. You need single marigolds not the ones with loads of frilly petals, but it does work for me.
