At the moment we have no where to store anything on our allottment , so for watering purposes would you recommend a flat hose instead of carting a heavy one from home ?

If so any recommedations ?

I had to give up my allotment a year or so ago when we moved house, but I used to leave the hose (normal type) there, lying on the ground, along with all my tools. Depends where the allotment is, I suppose, and if security is an issue. Everyone else did the same.

We leave a wheel barrow up there , so suppose it could be left under it .
