I've read the books, I know how to grow these things separately but it refuses to come together in my head as a seasonal or bed plan. Diagram of where I can plant attached:
Globe Artichokes, Asparagus, Rhubarb and raspberries all have planned planting spaces (strawberries, blueberries are in another "room" of the garden), spinach basically has it's own raised bed behind the compost bins so it gets some shade.
I would like to grow:
Broad Beans
Brussels Sprouts
Mangetout
Sprouting Broc
French beans
Peas
Carrots
A small amount of courgettes (1 plant?)
Tomatoes
Those are the things we eat masses of but, there are only 2 of us (one and a half of us) and I just cannot seem to plan this out seasonally.
I would love to plant sweetcorn but would these do better in the ground or the raised bed?
I have a lot of things I want to grow that like to climb, should I put in a wigwam frame, would that be better in a raised bed or should the planting space for things to go into the ground.
I have free range guinea pigs so have to fence everything off anyway unless I want it destroyed.
