Yes, a lady on another thread pointed out a Hover Flymo for sale at ARgos, £23 off, selling for £53 - or something like that. I need recommendations though, and unless I get down to the Library for the Which? mag, I have to rely on word of mouth.

Hover Mower from Argos

I have a flymo that looks the same as that one (oh its all the way down the end of the garden & is raining-will check the model later) Its great I have a big garden and this yr my grass was really long b4 i was able to cut it. It worked fine (had to do it bit by bit, partly slanted) I would get it. Im trying to convince mum to buy it'

...but with a hover, you dont get the lovely stripes. my DH just loves to make the stripes so I could be in for a battle. But if I just go out and buy it..... ho ho ho
