What is eating my golden hop?

I can't see anything around it. It is growing vigorously and looks like it is one so far. But what is eating it? Any home made remedies please??

There are certain bugs or larvae that eat leaves. Googling bugs on Hops might help. Usually, although it's unsightly there's no lasting damage.

I read the title as 'golden hoop' and I had a good giggle. Sorry, no help.

Thanks for the reply JT. I tried another gardening forum elsewhere and have been told it is probably caterpillars! So I am going to buy Neem oil tomorrow to push the buggers off.
