Title says it really. My husband has recently got into gardening. I'd like to buy him something quality as an anniversary gift that will be well used in the garden and cherished. Maybe an individual tool or a set? Being 5th anniversary it has to be wooden...hit me with your ideas! Premium/British/Quirky brands appreciated! Thank you

A wooden trug to put garden cuttings and things in. A wooden box to keep seed packets in.

Quality spade/fork/trowel/hand fork with a wooden handle?

Does he have a lot of gardening tools so far?

IlsaLund · 06/08/2017 21:58

The copper tools (wooden handles) here are beautiful and true lovely to use.

Great suggestions so far thank you. No, he doesn't have much at the moment. (Only a few tools that were bought very cheaply) I have a budget of around £60

I realise it's not a tool, but still wooden and to do with gardening Smile

Partridge - I have that one and it is nearly ten years old and still in lovely condition.
I use it all the time and out of my many many garden tools it is my favourite by far.

I was going to say trug

and now I NEED copper tools! They look amazing. I have my Dads really old wooden trowel and am forever getting splinters from it.

Not quite a tool but could you buy a 5 year old tree? That way you've got the wood element and it will get bigger every year you are married
