Is there an easy way to keep on top of weeds that doesn't require having to bend to pull them up??

I hate gardening at the best of times, but at the moment my backs really bad (degenerative disc disease) and I can barely bend to clean up after the dog twice a day let alone any prolonged bending. I have gravel at the front and mainly paving at the back, with planted borders. The gravel has a weed membrane but the weeds are breaking through it and also rooting on top of it.

I'm overrun with what I think is mares tail and another couple of extremely fast growing weeds and I just can't deal with it. I paid someone to clear it all about 6 weeks ago and now it's worse than ever. I can't afford to keep paying out but I'm embarrassed by the state of the garden.

You can buy long handled weed puller uppers (I don't know what they're called!)

Round up, the 3L version comes with a trigger so less bending.

We have gravel, plus sycamore trees nearby if I didn't weed those little sprouters I'd have a forest.
