Dog wee patches on the grass. How do I get rid?

Didn't know whether to put here or in the Dog section - but my beloved pooch is destroying my lawn!

We've got a 4 year old greyhound rescue and the lawn is suffering - highlighted more on days like today when DC are in the paddling pool and the grass looks scorched! Anyone uses anything that works?

Thank you!

I can recommend Dog Rocks.
They are stones which you put in the water bowl and they reduce acidity in the urine which stops it killing the grass. (have a quick Google)
then just water the grass and wait for it to come back or try reseeding.
I used these and grass was noticeably better in about a week and then no sign of urine scorching afterward
lots of friends have all used them and I have only heard of one who said it was no good

We use tablets we put in their food. Can't remember what they are called though!
