So I've being given a £100 garden centre gift voucher from work. I'd like to treat my garden to something special but I'm also useless at making decisions. Does anyone have any recommendations? What are your must- buys? I have a south facing garden. Thanks in advance.

ooh lovely.

I'd buy some beautiful flowering shrubs (eg philadelphus, winter flowering honeysuckle, sophora, deutzia), a small tree, a good quality pair of secateurs and some new gloves. If roses do well in your soil, I'd get another rose - you can never have too many. And there is always room for another clematis.

Perhaps the garden centre will give you change in vouchers so you can get things later in the year as well?

I'd get a lovely David Austin rose, and perhaps some nice pots that you wouldn't normally spend that much on?

Although I have to say, we recently got a voucher and ended up spending it upgrading our hose and watering system mainly Grin

Some beautiful planters or a stone bird bath.
