we bought a static caravan last year and want to make the garden nicer

we have a good sized flower bed hidden under weeds!

we are going to get a couple of Montana to grow along the back fencing kind of stuff as you are looking into another caravn park

I love colour and summer bedding plants, but as we are there 3 weekends out of 4 I cannot water regulary and I know that in any hot weather in the summer anything I usually plant at home would just die

any idea's please

Thanks so much

Anything with a thick leaf is usually OK for dry areas, as is anything with a silvery colour.

Lavender is good, as is cotton lavender (santolina). Other shrubs include things like cistus (rock roses), broom, hebes, salvia, aucuba and black elder. For ground cover, things like stachys (lamb's ears), ajuga (bugle), or vinca - which spreads like buggery but is very pretty. African marigolds

Fab selection RB - you can come and do my garden. I'd add Verbena bonariensis, poppies, californian poppies and be very happy in your caravan. And maybe a small lemon tree in a very sunny sheltered spot for my GnT
