What was the indigo plant on last night's gardeners world?

Was it Indigofera amblyantha?

I really liked the look of it in that community garden in East London.

Does anyone have one?
Would it be happy in a big pot?

No, it was Baptisa?

I don't have one but will be getting several.

I've just watched it on it iplayer - it was the indigo himalayensis 'silk road'.

It looked lovely.

Interesting as Baptisa was also on there!

yes, I have one in a pot which is happy in a sheltered corner but is very susceptible to slug damage. I'm losing the battle at the moment . i've got it paired with clematis alpina and a tiarella.

Glad it likes it in a pot.

Bloody slugs - I'm expecting an influx due to recent rain.

I got one of these label-free from the bargain corner at the garden centre last autumn and it is flowering like mad. Didn't know what it was called, as it wasn't labelled so thank you
