Have recently been given two 6' planters home made from ...not sure but untreated soft wood I think .
I think I would prefer a stain to paint to weatherproof them .Can I use Cuprinol ? Do I need to be careful about chemicals leeching into the soil and affecting plant growth ? I'm not going to use for anything edible .
