Advice on what to do with aloe vera plants please

A friend has just given me one reasonable size and three tiddly aloe vera plants how should I be looking after them?

You can pretty much neglect them...can pot in cacti or succulent potting mix if not already and then just water occasionally...great for minor burns and scrapes etc, just break off a leaf, split in half and apply sap to wound

Yes, neglect. They breed like rabbits. V useful for sunburn, too. Put one in the kitchen for minor burns.

Thanks will have fun with these then as my plants usually only last a couple of weeks cause I forget to water or something. Sounds as if they might actually survive
