what a glorious day to be in the garden

have been trimming back bushes etc which have gotton out of control, weeded the flowerbed and tidied up the garden of the winter rubbish.

trouble is, i have filled the councils brown bin a;ready so cant mow the lawn, sort out the nettles and brambles till it gets emptied. i am hoping that its this week and not next week. though the nettles and grass clippings can go on compost heap cant they, its just the brambles are too woody.

Yes, grass cuttings are ok as long as you don't only put grass cuttings on (as then it turns into silage and smells horrible).

get in the bin and push it all down with your feet, thats what I do
