As you can see, my garden is small and north facing.
The shed needs some TLC, which has me wondering whether it's in the right place- this photo shows the sun around 5pm is on that side; in the mornings the other side is sunny. I'm getting a garden sofa set and want to enjoy the sun whilst it's out.

Options would be (cheapest) leave it as is, get a new one one the left side slightly larger so the bike would fit in, or one along the back fence.

Thoughts would be appreciated, as well as any ideas in general for my small space 🤔🌿🌸

Thanks

It has the same aspect as mine, but looks a lot nicer already. Mine is manky grass and a half-dead apple tree. I keep planting stuff but it never thrives due to lack of light mainly.

I would move things around if possible so you could sit in that sunny patch of an evening?

I saw a suggestion in a magazine (Gardener's world possibly?) for a sort of tall table that the wheelie bin slides under - then the planter in the top was filled with grit basically and lots of alpines. It looked a nice way to hide the bin and gain a square metre of growing space.
