Trellis/pots attached to my fence? Neighbour should have asked?

Wouldn't it have been polite to ask before he did it?

I'm probably going to replace a couple of the panels so what happens if he's got stuff growing?

Just lift them off and place in his garden. . .

Neighbour relations are a tad frosty so I think he just thought he'd go ahead anyway. To be fair I haven't actually looked over the fence but through a couple of gaps I can see at least one pot which must be attached somehow high up, plus troughs along the bottom with trellis coming out of them which may or may not be attached (hopefully not).

Can't see why it would bother you if it's on the other side of the fence

If you stopped looking through the gaps in your neighbour's fence you wouldnt see the pots.

Tell him you are replacing the panels and give him the chance to detach his climbers.

Honestly, it is as easy as that .
