Not sure if this the right place to ask, but here goes...
We have quite a few mining bees doing their thing on a small patch of lawn to the side of our house. I'd happily leave them to it, but we are starting building work on an extension a week Tuesday, and they are burrowing just next to where we will be building. There is no way the builders can avoid disturbing the ground where they are. Is there anything we can do to maybe deter them!? Or is it too late?
I've made our flower beds really bee friendly (probably my own fault that they are here now!) so feel bad that their homes are going to be destroyed, I love seeing them buzzing around.
