I am making raised beds and now have 4 not yet filled.
One is going to be an asparagus bed so I ordered some crowns understanding they would come in late April, which would have given me time to fill a bed and let it go through a cycle of weed germination and destruction. But they are here.
Where should I keep them (shed? Cellar? Fridge?) and should I get them in the ground as quickly as I can or should I not skimp on the anti weed measures and will they be OK hanging around in the right conditions?
Any advice would be very welcome, thank you x
