I am a childminder and with the kids I look after am growing lettuce, tomatoes, peppers, cauliflours and onions! We put them in a little tray each with a lid on (on a sunnyish worktop).

They have all grown lovely (peppers only just started growing tho) and are now getting too big for the tray but I'm worried if I put them in the soil in my garden that I will spoil their progress! I'm usually of the low maintenance variety when it comes to gardening so any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yes thought the frost would be an issue, if I replant them to stay indoors a little longer do I still need to cover them over?
What should I put them in next - any recommendations?
