I am a total novice but really enjoying gardening.

I planted some China aster and sweet William seeds into seed trays. I now know they could have gone straight into the ground. I had them on a window sill for 4 weeks then outside for a few days. I have now planted them out. I didn't know I should pot them on. Are they going to survive. They are not in full sun. I don't even know how tall they will grow

They are a bit late for this year Smile and as they are small they will need protection from slugs or they will be chomped overnight.

They will probably be fine but they might get eaten by slugs. Have you got anything you can use to protect them?

Bloody hell. I have been doing nightly slug hunts. Might have to make a bucket of coffe so I have loads of coffee grounds
