Rattan garden furniture - cushions. Do you leave yours out to get 'darked' / rained on?

Just that really.

Got a new corner sofa set thing with 8 million cushions. I want to be able to just nip out and sit on it but dh thinks the cushions should come in at night or during the day if we aren't at home in case it rains.

So, should they come in? They are 'showerproof' apparently and I cba keep taking them out for my cup of tea when I get home from work.

I have just the same. I bring in the cushions for fear of rain and darking but I have a summer house to chuck them in.

We have also just got a corner rattan unit with, what feels like, hundreds of cushions - infact it is 7 seat cushions and 8 back cushions.
I don't want ours to get ruined so they come in - not sure ours say showerproof though either.

We have a large rattan cushion box int he garden which is sealed - the 7 seat cushions go in there. I then have a couple of extra large material duvet bags for the back cushions - throw them in there and they will go in the garage. Not overly convenient I guess - I am thinking I may jig it around a bit and keep a couple of back cushions in the outside box, and a seat cushion on the garage bags - so I can at least put a couple of seats worths out quicker.

I also have a couple of waterproof rain covers to go over the rattan for winter and overly wet days - though it does say its weather proof. They are thicker and study than I had realised so do wonder if I could leave at least the seat cushions on the chairs and cover them, and them be okay??

We left ours out, we had marvellous intentions to bring them in but frankly after a night round the firepit drinking and laughing it didn't occur to us, nor the next day or in fact the whole of summer.
Fair to say they are totally ruined!
Bring them in!!!

I would imagine they'd get mildew on them if you left them out.
