Foxgloves.

So nature decided that I wanted a load of foxgloves in my garden and who am I to argue. They look beautiful.
It is my understanding that foxgloves are a biannual so last year they were just leaves and this year they are about 7ft tall. So, what happens next year? Will they just die back to nothing?

Yes, as biennials (or short-lived perennials), they usually die after flowering. If you let them go to seed, you'll have a ready supply of new plants in following years!

You'll get them every year of they're well established, as time and the odd outlier will have had an effect.

Just make sure DC who are young enough to still be exploring the world with their mouths are constantly supervised, and read the riot act about poisonings to older ones.

No DC here so no danger of poisoning.
They look lovely so I'm hoping some others will seed too.
