I know it's more like anti-gardening but I'm thinking of astroturfing a secton of garden. We have a small, shady boggy garden with a further small garden behind (which is the one I'm thinking of astroturfing). We have 2 DD under 2 and come spring/summer I'd really like to be able to let them play outside without having to head to the park all the time so am thinking of converting the back bit to a play area. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what type to use (the softest AstroTurf possible ideally so it's not as hard to fall on). Also is it a load of work to prep the ground?
