hi,i live right on the south coast and just cut the grass and general tidy/put away

but im hoping one more cut and thats it i hope,even though we have had no rain for 2wks the grass is still growing well

when does grass stop growing please??

It keeps growing while the temperature is over 5-6 degrees C, but will slow down a lot. So it depends a bit what the microclimate in your garden is like over the next few weeks and into winter. If we get a hot October, as we did last year, then you might need more than one further cut! Some people swear by a monthly cut over the winter, but I think this has to be done very carefully so as not to do more harm than good and I've never felt the need! But my lawn is not exactly pristine Grin

I'm South Coast too. It totally depends on the weather. At the moment it is very mild and wet so expect to keep mowing. Some years I mow all through the winter, sometimes there's no need to in December and January. It's a good way to tidy up fallen leaves, if they are dry.

yes its very mild there will deffo be another cutting before im finished if not more
