volunteered to tend reception class garden - what shall I plant for year round interest? ??

need some help on what to plant for Sept - July veg, flowers and herbs for 3 and 4 year olds

In April i planted toms, strawberries, courgettes, carrots, lettuce various herbs. All did really well and kids enthusiastic. now I need a plan for all year!

potatoes, spring bulbs, bit late for pumpkins?

have 30 1ft square X 2ft deep pots and 10 baskets to fill.

Snow drops for the spring and crocuses. Not much more help sorry apart from sprouts for Christmas of course Smile

Hardy greens like kale (sow now for autumn & spring harvests) or chard (wait until mid August) & 'winter salads' like mustard greens
Root veg - beetroot, turnips, swede - sow now for late autumn harvest
Garlic, onions, broad beans, hardy peas - plant in October/November
