Cobweb / spider problem - help

Does anyone know how to get rid of spiders and de-cobweb easily? We have loads outside our windows and they start rebuilding as soon as I brush and wash them down from the windows / furniture railings etc!

I think the only way is to brush very regularly. They seem to get the message and eventually move on!

We have the same problem I've heard they hate eucalyptus oil added to water and sprayed around the area so I've ordered it and am willing to try anything!

I've washed them down again today so will try that before I polish the windows. They're so annoying, especially on garden furniture you want to sit on without getting covered in cobwebs!
