Fence help!

Looking to paint garden fence... Love idea if black but will be too dark.... Want something just a shade down from black.... Any suggestions? Have tried Cuprinol rich oak but think may be too brown... Anyone tried forest oak or dark oak? Tia

Sage or Inky Stone would provide good contrast.

Brown is a bit meh, and bright blues over-used. The damson-y shaded look nice though.

Black in a garden is great. I use Sadolin Classic Ebony. As long as you have plenty of greenery/colour to offset it.
