Can anyone recommend a simple-to-use and economical digital camera that will take good close-up pictures of plants -- or give me one or two specs, e.g. about the macro facility, I ought to look out for?
I want to take close-ups that have enough sharpness and definition to communicate detail about the plant and be lovely to look at. And I'd like to be able to share easily online: my plants make me so insanely happy I feel confident that all the world ought to have a chance to see them.
WiFi connectivity would be great, but less important than quality of image
I'm asking here because I would really value non-tecchie answers from people who love plants more than (or as much as) cameras. I've tried looking for recommendations on camera review sites but they are all so technical that I can't get much from them. I need a numpty's guide to simple (but good-enough quality) point-and-press cameras. Perhaps someone knows of a good site?
I won't be able to check the thread for a while but I am very grateful indeed for any replies and info.
