I picked up one of these the other day, and what I am reading is quite contradictory.
Sarah Raven says put it anywhere, but restrict the roots for better fruiting and keep it damp. Other people say it needs lots of sun and will grow enormous.
Can anyone advise? The label doesn't specify which one it is, but I am pretty sure it is not the variegated 'Elegans' kind.
if i wanted to restrict the roots, would it work to plant it in a pot sunk in the ground with the bottom removed? I'd prefer not to have to keep watering it.....
I'm in SE England, fairly sheltered garden.
