Which screening plants for pots either side of house?

Very novice gardener here but we have a house on an "open" estate (no fences or physical division between the houses).

We've decided to get big pots and have, say three, each side of our house to make it look cosier and have a bit more privacy.

I think we are keen on bamboo at one side of the house. I can't really envisage what to do with the other side. Should we have the same or something different?

Black bamboo is one of the most attractive, and we have a big clump of it.

If the house is symmetrical, I think treat each side in a similar way.

There are a lot of other, quite easy, ornamental grasses, which will do reasonably well in pots if watered sufficiently. I'll come back sometime with a few names, and (hopefully) pictures.

Thanks Ferguson. The front is north east facing. Now you've said it I suppose it makes sense to have the same on both sides.
