Is it too late to plant daffodil bulbs in November?

Just that really -will it be too late to plant then mid November -and what is the optimum time to plant them?

No, it won't be too late. But Late October - early November would be better, tbh. Is there a reason you can't do them now?

Tulips perform well when planted very late in November, if that helps at all?

What kind of soil do you have?

Depending on how many there are, maybe you could start them off in a large container with bulb compost; water them and keep outside.

Their roots should start to emerge in a few weeks. Then, when you have more time, you can take them out of the compost, and plant them in the beds where you want them to go. Make holes with a bulb-planter, or similar, and take care not to damage young roots.
