I've taken home a plant from work as it was looking a little neglected and in need of TLC.

So since I brought it home, I have changed the compost, fed it, watered it, misted the leaves, and let it rest. But I don't know what it is.

The smaller leaves look a bit Philodendron Scandens shaped, but not sure.

Looks like a very sad specimen of Dracaena braunii. Aka Lucky Bamboo

Thanks for the link, Peri.

It doesn't look very lucky to me.....hopefully it might have picked up a bit by tomorrow.

It's an Aglaonema. Classic office plant. There's not much you can do - they just go like that after a while. Try feeding it with Baby Bio or similar. Its pot looks a bit small; I'd go up one size.

Oh and they hate direct sunlight. It would enjoy a north facing windowsill, if you have one.

Oh right, thanks Rhubarb, I'll change the pot to a bigger one, then.

And I've got the perfect windowsill for it.

Might keep it at home for a further few days as I thought it would have perked up by now (impatient), having had new compost etc, but it still looks the same .....Sad

Aw it does look a bit sorry for itself doesn't it?

I agree it need a bigger pot though but may reach for the stars once it takes and spreads it's roots as what happened to a plant I rescued from an office. Talk about grow Grin

Thanks gamer, I feel more hopeful for it now.

I'd talk to it as well, but

a) I don't want to be like Prince Charles Shock

b) It'd die on me Grin
