I need something, low growing, sparse, tough and prickly for front / mid border.
For things to grow through, so the fucking chickens can't scratch them up.
Soil fertile, well drained, sunny, a bit dry (perfect hen dustbath atm). But we live on a windy hill about 2 miles from the sea.
Recommendations please.
