Laurus nobilis is not looking good. Understatement. Stems are bare of leaves until the very top part, and the leaves there are partially damaged and brown. Planted last year for screening, soil topped up with bonemeal this spring, have run out of ideas. A wee poke about the soil revealed ants (hundreds). Any advice out there for saving shrub?
