Why do all my tulips look like they've been hole punched?

Just that really. My tulips are coming out and all the flowers have perfect holes in them akin to someone going round them with a hole punch Sad

What critters have done this and how do I stop them?

Could be earwigs ? Or slugs.

Yes, probably slugs and snails I expect. Might possibly be caterpillars, some can be really tiny.

Put out bit of slug bait (unless your organic) or go out at night with a torch, and see if you can find the culprits!

It doesn't sound as if this is the problem, but it's always good to be on the lookout for tulip fire.

Sorry. Blush

I won't do it again...
