Cheeky request

Does any one live in the Weybridge Surrey area . On Saturday I am running the Pimms stall at my DS school fete and I need mint . The home grown stuff . Does anyone have any to spare . I dont think I will be lucky in this request but if I dont ask I will never know . TIA .

Shame I'm so far from you, mine escaped its pot and now I've got absolutely tonnes of it! Hope someone can help you, it would be a shame if you had to buy it.

If you end up having to buy it, it's 69p for 25g of cut mint in Tescos, or you can buy it growing in a pot for £1.08 - so it wouldn't blow the budget too much!

Go to a local garden center.Speak to the manager and ask if they'd like to provide mint for your Pimms stall in return for a large advert on the stall thanking them.

also, we have loads in hedgerows round here... easy to spot at the mo as its purple flowers are starting... may be worth a look if you have a country lane?

and pimms is really suppossed to have borage flowers in it... that makes it look dead posh!
