I have decided to have a go at growing sweetpeas & peas from seed but I went a bit mad and overbought trays and compost. I don't want to waste them & would love to be able to fill the borders and empty pots with flowers next Spring/Summer. The trouble is I am a complete gardening novice and have no idea where to start. Can anybody suggest any other seeds that are fairly foolproof to have a bash at growing? Ideally seeds that an be planted now-ish & grown over the Winter in an unheated porch. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.
