so sad at the thought of giving up my lotty

so i was woken up this morning by my husband with the words 'i think we need to think about calling it a day with the allotment' big sigh, we have had it for three years unfortunately we have become so busy with life, me going back to college, work, running a business and three kids etc etc iv recently had to give my chickens up it seems as though we are just having to give up all our unnecessary things in order to survive financially and with time. I wish we could just have a huge garden but we will never be able to move sigh. Anyway just had to get it off my chest. x

Is it business or cost? Any chance you can turn it over to perennials?

I gave mine up too this year, I was very sad but the committee were getting really demanding about all sorts.
Its very liberating actually, but I'm very lucky that I have a garden at home.
