Can I put seeds I've just harvested into a plastic bag?

I've just harvested some aquilegia seeds and am sending them by post to my MIL.

Putting them in a plastic bag won't kill them, will it?

If she leaves them in the bag for any length of time, any damp may make them mouldy.

I'd just put them in a paper envelope inside the one you are sending.

Ok, will do. Thank you!

Yes paper envelope or paper bag much better - and keep in a cool place - I think Monty Don recommends the fridge!

I keep those silicon sachets in with harvested seeds. Make sure small children can't get to them though.
