We've just moved house, first time with a garden, and have inherited the previous owner's gardener, who comes weekly, does the mowing and cuts back the hedges, tidies leaves (it's quite a big garden). There are usually two of them and they charge £50, so far they've been here between 30-50mins each time. I think this is more or less the same as they did for previous owner, but this seems a bit steep to me. I don't really know what the going rate is for this kind of maintenance, other than what I've seen looking online. Thanks.
