I want to plant one of those tall trees (they look kinda like Yuccas), I cannot remember for the life of me what they are called. Also see lots of them in places like Torquay etc. There are quite a few planted and thriving in my home city and i've picked out a nice sunny but sheltered spot for it. Can you help to jog my simpleton memory into action ?

TIA
Smile

Palm trees. Think there is a specific variety know as the Torbay palm because it grows so well there.

Cordyline also.
