Raspberries

We have bought a raspberry plant from a local fayre today (grown in the allotments down the road). I have never really grown raspberries. It is currently potted is it best to leave it that way or put it in the ground?

Put it in the ground.

Cut it back to 30cm in winter (around November time) and it will grow like a weed every year - at least that's what my one did.
