Garden "works of art" ...

Hi all

I want to make my garden more interesting with works of art and creative ideas. I'm going to think of some myself, but wondered if anyone had suggestions?

Budget is an issue- it needs to be make, not buy, by which I mean I am not meaning to purchase ready made art.

I saw a garden once with hidden playing cards and jokes on shrubs. I have been self carved Indian tepee art eg the wood posts, and some public spaces have metal things twisted and rusted. I did have an idea for a broken glass table I threw away sadly, which involved getting a plywood insert for it, and collecting/ smashing cold crockery to cover it. Stuck down, of course.

Any ideas welcome. I need to be able to do it myself, with the help of any willing teenager!

Thank you, and I hope others might get ideas too...

Seen, not been.

Old, not cold, crockery!

I am on an iPhone, and am a crap proof reader.

mosaics made with pebbles, white stones, broken crockery all look good.

One of my neighbours put random plastic fruit on a tree in her garden - it always made me Smile

A neighbour has decorated a tree in their front garden with pompoms made from recycled carrier bags. Local
opinion is divided, but I like it.

How about an Inukshuk or some kind of rock balancing effort? Or something with willow maybe? You could keep it simple, my DM is making a willow arbour and it's not too complicated.
