Can I still sow sunflower seeds now?

I know it's a bit late, packet says until end May, but I forgot. Will they still grow and be just blooming a bit later?

should be OK as long as it is before the solstice, I planted some yesterday.

Yes, we often forget untll late.

The ones we planted in plenty of time this year are still v small anyway due to the lack of sun. Fingers crossed they'll come on quickly now.

Yours will probably be fine if it keeps sunny and warm now for the next few weeks.

If you can put some glass or plastic over them when the germinate that may help to bring them on.

For a quick green house effect to get caught up - cut the top off a 2L plastic coke style bottle and turn it upside down over the planted seed.
