Viburnum 'Charles Lamont' - is this the right plant for me?

Hello,

After researching plants I think I want one of these.

I have a piece of ground opposite my house and my neighbour has put up a fence, the concrete post now faces my house and my bedroom, it's not pretty, so I want to plant something that will cover it.
It needs to grow about 6 ft tall, and be pretty and mix in well with the other woodland'y looking plants that'll it'll be next to, It won't really be nurtured, but my gardener would cut it back if it ever needed it.

Can anyone offer any advice?

I also need another plant to fill a gap in the same line of plants - thoughts?

Thank you!
